Melissa has also served as an Accreditation Reviewer for the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), and most recently she became an ACOTE Board member. Melissa has assumed various leadership positions as an OTA Educational Program Advisory Board member in Maine and as a guest lecturer for academic programs, including North Shore Community College's OTA Program. She was recently invited to serve on the OTA Forum for AOTA to facilitate meaningful discussion and productive efforts to meet the needs of OTA practitioners. Within this role, Melissa will present at the 2011 AOTA Conference. Melissa has managed to engage in all of these remarkable efforts while being an effective OTA practitioner and serving as a Regional Vice President for LaVie Rehab.
